2021 wrapped – your favourite Digital Assistant updates
What a year it’s been for the Digital Assistant
As usual, we’ve been working hard this year to deliver some fantastic new updates to our clients. We’ve had some BIG releases this year, from enhanced guided selling tools to the DA Hub.
So without further ado, let’s recap on your Digital Assistant highlights from the past year. How many are you taking advantage of?
Help Me Choose
Arguably the most innovative tech we’ve brought to our customers this year is Help Me Choose.
Help Me Choose allows you to simulate in-store consultations online, creating a Q&A flow with your customers. We developed this new capability with considered purchases in mind, so you can help your customers shorten the research phase of their shopping journey.
By asking two to three multiple-choice questions, you can pass on your product expertise to your customers, making truly helpful product recommendations.
Don’t just take our word for it though.
“Guided selling has allowed us to engage with our audience in a totally new way. Following the initial set up, we were able to help each visitor find the perfect Father’s Day gift quickly and easily, without lifting a finger.” Joanna Lewis, Founder, Parkin & Lewis
Digital Assistant Hub
The Digital Assistant Hub was a smart release that gave you more power over your messaging. The Hub is a place where important campaigns, messages or offers can be pinned, allowing any of your customers to access and view it without the need to meet ‘audience rule’ criteria first.
Another great improvement is our product sets. Previously, product carousels were driven solely by our algorithms, with products selected based on data and customer behaviour, for example ‘Customers who viewed this item also viewed…’.
Product sets now allow you to create your own product carousels, recommending the products that you want to highlight, for full control over your messaging.
Our first integration! Zapier is a bit of a game changer for those of you using the email capture feature within Digital Assistant.
Instead of manually downloading email addresses that have been inputted into your DA, and manually uploading them to your CRM, this whole process can now be automated.
Zapier connects your Digital Assistant to a huge number of third-party applications. So whenever a new email address is entered, it will automatically update in your marketing CRM, whether that’s Hubspot, Klaviyo or MailChimp.
And that’s a wrap!
Thanks again to our wonderful clients for another fantastic year of ecommerce.
Enjoy the festive period and have a Happy New Year. See you in 2022!
